The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya, confirmed the outcome in a statement issued to the university community, describing the result as a reflection of sustained academic discipline and institutional commitment.

LASUSTECH accreditation success saw the institution obtain full accreditation for 13 of the 14 undergraduate programmes presented for review, while only one programme received interim accreditation.

The accredited programmes span multiple colleges, including Basic Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Environmental Design and Technology, and Engineering and Technology.

In the College of Basic Sciences, Industrial Mathematics received full accreditation. In Applied Social Sciences, Insurance, as well as Tourism and Hospitality Management, also secured full approval.

The College of Environmental Design and Technology recorded full accreditation across Estate Management and Valuation, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, and Urban and Regional Planning.

Engineering programmes also performed strongly, with Food Science and Bio-Technology, Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, Civil and Construction Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering all achieving full accreditation, except Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which received interim status.

The university also secured full accreditation for Architecture from the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria.

Professor Odusanya described the outcome as a significant achievement, noting that the institution has maintained a consistent record of success across all programmes presented for accreditation since its establishment.

He praised academic and non-academic staff, alongside students, for their dedication and resilience, describing their contribution as instrumental to the result.

The Vice-Chancellor urged the university community to sustain the momentum ahead of the 2026 accreditation cycle, emphasising continuous improvement and academic excellence.
