Laura Ikeji husband scandal trends as influencer remains unbothered, focusing on her brand despite allegations involving her husband

Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Laura Ikeji has remained publicly unbothered amid allegations surrounding her husband, Ogbonna Kanu, following claims of an alleged affair circulated online.

The controversy emerged after an AI blogger, Tolani Talks, accused Ogbonna Kanu of engaging in a relationship with a 23-year-old woman who had recently relocated to Nigeria.

The report further alleged inappropriate propositions and claimed that communication between both parties abruptly ceased.

Despite the growing online conversation, Laura Ikeji has not directly addressed the claims. Instead, she took to Instagram to promote her beauty brand, expressing gratitude to customers and supporters in a video message.

“I want to say thank you so much to every single customer of Laura Beauty,” she said, acknowledging those who have contributed to the growth of her business.

The post quickly drew reactions from social media users, many of whom pressed for a response to the allegations.

The Laura Ikeji husband scandal has sparked mixed reactions online, with some users defending her decision to remain silent, while others questioned her apparent composure.

In a separate post, Laura Ikeji shared a confident clip of herself at her office, showcasing what observers described as a poised and resilient stance amid the unfolding situation.

The couple, who married in January 2017 in Nkwerre, Imo State, marked their eighth wedding anniversary last year with coordinated photos celebrating their relationship.

However, speculation about their union had surfaced previously after Laura Ikeji shared festive family photos that did not include her husband.

Beyond her personal life, Laura Ikeji has remained vocal about challenges facing celebrity-owned businesses in Nigeria, recently criticising what she described as limited local support compared with international markets.

Observers note that while the allegations remain unverified, Laura Ikeji’s decision to focus on her brand highlights a calculated and composed public response during a sensitive moment.
