The actress, who transitioned from singing to acting, shared her story in response to a question on X about jobs that almost cost people their lives.

Miriam revealed that she faced multiple incidents of alleged abuse during her music career.

She described being almost violated while sleeping in a studio and alleged that a veteran producer once tried to coerce her into inappropriate acts.

In another instance, she said she had to sleep on the beach where touts stayed after a producer withdrew promised accommodation because she refused his demands.

The revelations have sparked strong reactions online. Fans expressed sympathy, noting that such experiences are common in various industries and that women are often dismissed as “bitter” when they speak out.

Comments highlighted the prevalence of harassment and the societal tendency to blame victims rather than address systemic issues.
