Dr. Hauwa Shekarau, the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association’s Abuja section, has died.
The news of her death was revealed in a statement published by the NBA Abuja branch’s Secretary, Prince Adetosoye, on Wednesday, captioned, “Notice of the Death of our chairperson, Dr. Hauwa E. Shekarau.”
“It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that I announce the death of our chairman, who died this morning, September 15, 2021, after a brief illness.
He added, “I will share more specifics about the preparations and funeral plans later.”
