The Ekiti State-born singer will be accompanied by her nine-member band as part of a cultural and musical showcase designed to connect with Nigerian diaspora communities through live performances.
According to her band manager, Lawal Taiwo Tomiwa, the Odunnayo UK tour will feature a series of high-energy concerts in event halls and worship centres, blending gospel expression with traditional juju rhythms.
The tour will commence with a Welcome Dance at Success Hall on Old Kent Road in London, followed by a Praise Night at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Fruitful Land Parish in Tilbury, Essex, on April 5, and another performance at TNLCM Media Hall in Dagenham on April 7.
A notable highlight of the tour includes a scheduled appearance alongside fellow artiste Ogunyinka Olalekan Olaitan at a juju music festival, further enriching the cultural offering of the tour.
Promoted by Topnotch Global Venture International Limited, the tour will also provide an opportunity for the singer and her band to record and launch a new music video, adding a creative dimension to the international outing.
Odunnayo, who began her musical journey in the church, has built a distinctive reputation by fusing gospel themes with juju music, earning recognition within Nigeria’s vibrant gospel scene.
Beyond her performances, she is also known for convening Atmosphere of Worship, a widely attended gospel event, and has shared the stage with leading artistes in the genre.
