Phyna Instagram suspension sparks reactions online after the BBNaija star lost access to her account amid feud with VeryDarkMan
Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna announced on Monday that her Instagram account had been suspended amid her escalating public dispute with social media critic and influencer VeryDarkMan.

The reality television star disclosed the development in a post shared on X after speculation emerged online that she had voluntarily deactivated her Instagram page.
“I didn’t deactivate my IG. Deactivate say wetin happen na? It got suspended,” Phyna wrote.
The dramatic development followed a series of accusations exchanged between both personalities on social media.
Phyna had earlier alleged that VeryDarkMan manipulated public opinion against her after she rejected an alleged sexual request from him.
The allegation quickly triggered heated reactions across several online platforms.
Responding to the claim, VeryDarkMan denied the accusation and insisted that asking a fellow adult for consent to sex was not improper.
The influencer also challenged Phyna to provide evidence to support her allegation.
In an explosive twist, Phyna later shared screenshots of alleged conversations between herself and VeryDarkMan on her Instagram page before the account was suspended hours later.
The suspension sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users questioning whether the account had truly been suspended or deliberately deactivated.

Neither Instagram nor representatives of Meta had publicly commented on the incident as of Monday evening.
