Edward John Hearn has spoken out about the rematch between heavyweights Anthony Joshua, 32, and Oleksandr Usyk, 34.
Hearn, a British sports promoter and the Chairman of Matchroom Sport and Professional Darts Corporation, insisted that the rematch could take place in March of next year.
In the heavyweights clash where Oleksandr Usyk had handed Anthony Joshua his second defeat in his prestigious career, seeing him lose the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles.
Just like he did following his first ever loss in December 2019 to Andy Ruiz, Anthony Joshua asked for a rematch in hope to regain the titles.
In his confirmation Hearn debunked the rumour that the former heavyweights champion had parted ways with trainer, Rob Mcracken.
After coming under serious scrutiny from fans over lack of commitment and efficiency in dishing out training to their beloved boxer, Joshua.
He narrated, “Joshua decided to visit a few gyms and their fighters and trainers, on splitting with Rob McCracken, No, he hasn’t, he hasn’t decided who is next trainer would be or whether he will be joining another one, he wants to improve, gain more, he is learning, there are no definite answers”.
Hearn had also revealed the intention of hosting the rematch next year.
