While many electorates made anti-godfatherism one of the criteria to vote a candidate in 2023 elections, new facts are emerging that the Labour Party’s guber candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, whose loyalists led the campaign may have been guilty of the same crime.
Rhodes-Vivour has been accused of being a lapdog for a former Peoples Democratic Party’s chieftain in the state, Chief Bode George.
Recall that Freelanews reports how a former LP’s chairman in the state, Kayode Salako, recently claimed the same thing when he accused Rhodes-Vivour of being a betrayer. But the guber candidate clapped-back that the former was suffering from bipolar disorder.
The latest accusation was made by Chief Moshood Salvador, who also claimed that Chief Geroge was the one who bankrolled Rhodes-Vivour’s guber ticket against his own ambition, even after he had paid.

Not only that, Salvador, who was at the time the senatorial candidate for Lagos West, also accused the guber candidate of anti-party activities by endorsing Otunba Segun Adewale, popularly known as Aeroland, of Peoples Democratic Party against his own candidacy.
“He went to meeting to endorse Aeroland; the video is here if you want I (will) give you.
“He went for a meeting an endorse Aeroland against my own candidacy. I’m the senatorial candidate for Lagos West, Aeroland for PDP. Why should you go inside and endorse Aeroland saying Aeroland is the one that can do the bits of the Igbos in Lagos,” Salvador revealed.
