Sea King criticises Sunday Igboho remarks were made in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, where he reacted to the mass abduction of teachers and students from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2026, has continued to generate public outrage following reports that one of the abducted teachers, Michael Oyedokun, was later beheaded by his captors, with a disturbing video reportedly circulated online.
In the video, Sea King questioned Igboho’s silence over the attacks, accusing him of failing to act on earlier promises to confront insecurity in Yoruba-speaking regions.
He also described the agitator’s silence as “politics,” stating that “silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery.”
Tagging Igboho’s social media handle, Sea King further criticised his past declarations and questioned his commitment to tackling insecurity in the region.
The remarks come months after Sunday Igboho was removed from the Federal Government’s wanted list by President Bola Tinubu, following years in exile after a 2021 security raid on his Ibadan residence.
Igboho had returned to Nigeria after nearly five years abroad, during which he became a prominent voice in the Yoruba Nation agitation movement.
