‘She’s unfit’ Drama as Ogun guber aspirant tackles Abiodun, loses cool on live radio

Listeners of Abeokuta based radio station have condemned the conduct of Ogun Governorship aspirant, Modele Sarafa-Yusuff during a live radio programme which forced the station to yank her off to restore normalcy.

Modele, who was a guest on a morning programme of Smash 88.1 FM hotline, “Smash Lens”, was peeved when asked why she resigned from the government of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.

The producer and anchor of the programme, Desmond Nwachukwu, had wanted to know the circumstances surrounding her leaving the government of Dapo Abiodun.

But Modele in her response, claimed she resigned and the government did not only failed to accept her resignation, but also pleaded with her to remain.

However, when the producer asked to substantiate and mention names of those begging her in the government not to resign, she flared up, calling the administration of Dapo Abiodun bad names, a situation the producer tried to caution her about.

All efforts by Nwachukwu to maintain sanity on the show was rebuffed by Sarafa-Yusuff who was already infuriated by the question, and remained unyielding which forced the producer had to cut her off the show.

However, listeners who followed the conversation, were left disappointed, with some of them, calling to express their anger over Modele Sarafa’s conduct, saying she lacks listening ability for someone eyeing public office.

Other callers who called described her attitude as unruly and bad conduct.

According to Prince Emmanuel from Ijebu-Igbo said Modele Sarafa’s conduct on-air was unruly and shows she is not a listening leader.

In his own contribution, Evangelist David Daramola from Ewekoro said the people do not need a leader that is bankrupt, saying majority of those seeking elective offices must be subjected to mental and psychiatric test.

The producer, while rounding off the programme said the programme was to give understanding and proper appraisal of who are seeking political office.

Desmond said, “you cannot come and bamboo the people. When bringing people on the station on this podium, who want to rule the masses. We need a leader who have the love of people.
