A 300-level student of the Federal University of Technology Owerri has reportedly been arrested for pouring hot water on her colleague over a mere argument.
Miracle Ogochwuku, identified as the culprit, as per reports, has been taken to the Imo state police station for further investigation over the act.
According to the report, Miracle had targeted his private part. He was rushed to the hospital immediately, where he was given immediate medical attention as his private part had been badly scalded.
Miracle dumped hot water on Chukwuemeka at their hostel in Eziobodo on Thursday afternoon, November 4, 2021, according to sources, when he didn’t answer the door after she knocked to get toothpaste.
Miracle is said to have made a scene in front of Chukwuemeka’s door despite the fact that he had company before retiring to her room.
According to an eyewitness, when she was approached by Wisdom later, their disagreement turned violent, and she ended up pouring boiling water on him.
