These remarks were made during a meeting with leaders of Afenifere, a respected Yoruba socio-cultural organization, at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday.

He outlined key strategies aimed at re-engineering Nigeria’s finances, enhancing citizens’ purchasing power, and fostering widespread prosperity through innovative economic policies.
“We are dedicated to ensuring the economic viability of our nation. To achieve this, we must initiate robust measures promptly. We will revitalize economic opportunities and continue to take deliberate steps towards progress,” President Tinubu stated.
Highlighting the pivotal role of education in poverty alleviation and youth empowerment, the President underscored ongoing efforts to invest in the future generation through initiatives like the National Student Loan Programme.
Additionally, he addressed the pressing issue of unemployment by proposing social security measures and introducing the Consumer Credit Scheme to bolster citizens’ purchasing ability and curb fraudulent practices.
President Tinubu also addressed national security concerns, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering commitment to preserving Nigeria’s sovereignty and constitutional democracy. In his remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olu Falae, commended the President for his bold leadership and ongoing infrastructure projects, including the rehabilitation of the Third Mainland Bridge.
