Peters disclosed that the church leadership, guided by a divine command, ordained him as bishop.

According to him, God had instructed the leaders of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church to make him the first bishop due to his consistent use of hymns in his music.

The iconic musician explained that his songs, often inspired by hymns, have been a medium through which many souls have been won for Christ.

“The Almighty God told the leaders of the church that I should be made the first bishop in C&S,” Peters revealed. “Because I’m the only musician who has been consistent in using hymns in my songs and performances, through which I have won many souls for Christ.”
