Governor Soludo welcomes Shanghai Jianhang Investment delegation to explore Anambra investment opportunities in power, agriculture, and tourism

 

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]overnor Charles Soludo has welcomed a high-profile delegation from the Shanghai Jianhang Investment Company Ltd to Anambra, as the company explores potential investment opportunities in the state’s power, agriculture, and tourism sectors.

The delegation was led by its Board Chairman, Mr Peng Yizhong, marking a significant step towards strengthening economic ties and fostering sustainable development.

During the meeting, Governor Soludo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partnering with investors to enhance infrastructural and economic growth in Anambra. He expressed enthusiasm about the visit, stating:

“We are delighted to host Chairman Peng Yizhong and his team as they explore the immense potential Anambra has to offer. Our state is open for business, and we are eager to collaborate with visionary investors to unlock new opportunities.”

Governor Soludo further emphasised his government’s strategic focus on creating a favourable investment climate, ensuring seamless business operations and rewarding experiences for investors.

He extended an open invitation to global investors, urging them to consider Anambra as a prime destination for business expansion.

“Let us work together to make Anambra shine even brighter,” he added.

The visit by Shanghai Jianhang Investment Company Ltd highlights the increasing interest in Anambra’s economic potential, particularly in key sectors aligned with the state’s development agenda.

This engagement is expected to pave the way for impactful collaborations that could transform the region’s power infrastructure, enhance agricultural productivity, and boost tourism appeal.

According to Law Mefor, Anambra’s State Information Commissioner, Governor Soludo remains optimistic about the state’s future as a leading investment destination.

He continues to position Anambra as an innovation hub and a business-friendly state that welcomes global partnerships.
