JMG solar system installation now powers 90% of its HQ, cutting diesel use by 34,800 litres and CO₂ by 71 tons yearly in a bold shift to renewable energy
The JMG solar system installation has positioned the company at the forefront of Nigeria’s renewable energy transformation, with its new hybrid solar power system delivering 90 per cent of the energy required at its Head Office.

Installed by JMG’s dedicated SOLAR Division, the 129kWp hybrid system is a fully integrated solution using Longi 575W solar panels, high-efficiency Deye hybrid inverters, and 122.9kWh of DEYE high-voltage lithium-ion battery storage.
This system is engineered to generate up to 15.48MWh of clean energy each month, significantly reducing carbon emissions and operational energy costs.
In practical terms, the setup eliminates over 71 tons of CO₂ emissions annually and cuts diesel consumption by an estimated 34,800 litres per year. These savings translate to nearly ₦40 million in operational costs each year.
“Our Head Office now leads by example, proving that smart, scalable solar solutions are ready for today’s commercial challenges,” said Hussein Abbas, Head of JMG’s Solar Division. “We’re not just promoting clean energy. We’re running on it.”
Designed with performance and efficiency in mind, the JMG solar system installation includes both rooftop and carport-mounted panels, maximising available space while maintaining high energy yield.
