Nollywood actress Evans Okoro has tested negative for HIV, following unverified allegations by her colleague, Ekene Umenwa, that she was living with the virus.

The development came hours after Evans accused Umenwa of gossiping about her and other Nollywood stars.
According to the claims, Umenwa allegedly informed Adanma Waller, a Nigerian nurse based in the United Kingdom, that Evans had HIV.
In response to the rumours, Evans visited a medical facility for a voluntary HIV test to confirm her health status. She later shared a video clip from the hospital, capturing the moment she received her test result.
The laboratory results displayed in the video confirmed that Evans tested negative, providing a clear rebuttal to the circulating allegations.
