Justadetoun condemned what she described as a “display of inhumanity and wickedness” in a viral video showing the victim subjected to violence by fellow students.
She criticised the school for attempting to exonerate itself by expelling the students involved, insisting that justice, not mere disciplinary action, must prevail.
“The boy has lost his father, his mother is hospitalised, and he has suffered immeasurably,” Justadetoun said.
“No apology or excuse can replace accountability. Justice must be served, regardless of connections or influence.”
She outlined ongoing efforts by her NGO to pursue the case through legal and administrative channels, calling for an immediate investigation and prosecution of the offenders.
Justadetoun emphasised that the school must meet proper certification standards and security protocols before reopening.
Justadetoun also praised the swift action of state authorities, noting that officials had agreed to prosecute the boys involved.
She urged transparency and vigilance, stressing that such incidents must not be silenced or ignored.
“The toes of the masses are strong, and no one is above justice,” she said. “We will monitor the process closely and ensure that every responsible party is held accountable.”
