The presidential aircraft touched down at about 7:12 p.m. at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja.

According to a statement issued by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the president was received by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa and other senior government officials.

During his stay in France, Bola Tinubu reportedly engaged global investors, where he highlighted his administration’s commitment to transparency, fiscal discipline and ongoing economic reforms.

The president also attended the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, co-hosted by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.

At the summit, Tinubu advocated reforms to the global financial system and called for stronger African economic integration aimed at driving the continent’s prosperity.

He further promoted Nigeria’s blue economy potential, describing maritime development as a critical pillar for Africa’s economic growth.

The president also pledged to share Nigeria’s maritime intelligence infrastructure with willing Gulf of Guinea nations.

While in Nairobi, Tinubu held a bilateral meeting with Madagascan President Michael Randrianirina as part of broader diplomatic engagements.

In Kigali, the Nigerian leader joined other African presidents, investors and chief executives at the Africa CEO Forum, where discussions focused on accelerating economic transformation through regional integration and cross-border investments.

Tinubu also met with Paul Kagame and representatives of multinational organisations, including the International Finance Corporation, APM Terminals and the Winme Group.

According to the presidency, the meetings yielded notable favourable outcomes, particularly in investment and economic cooperation discussions.

The president additionally participated in panel sessions focused on his administration’s ambitious reform agenda and efforts to strengthen investor confidence in Nigeria.

The statement added that Bola Tinubu is expected to participate in the forthcoming All Progressives Congress primaries scheduled to begin on Saturday in Lagos.
