VeryDarkMan AI Video Reaction surfaced on Wednesday after the activist posted a video on his social media page, where he dismissed claims surrounding the controversial AI-generated audio clip attributed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The influencer criticised presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, describing him in strong terms while insisting he would not defend the authenticity of the manipulated audio content circulating online.
He also questioned the Federal Government’s response to worsening insecurity, referencing recent abductions of teachers and students in Oyo State.
VeryDarkMan alleged that victims of the kidnapping incident remain in captivity, claiming that one of the teachers had been killed, while others are still missing.
The activist argued that public attention was being diverted to the viral AI clip instead of urgent security challenges affecting communities across the country.
He further referenced reports circulating online about insecurity incidents on Children’s Day, insisting that government communication had not adequately addressed the situation.
The Presidency had earlier vowed to prosecute VeryDarkMan over allegations linked to the circulation of a fake audio clip of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to official statements.
The controversy intensified after an X user, @Pious_minister, alleged that an AI-generated audio mimicking the President was featured in content associated with the influencer.
The development has triggered widespread reactions across social media, with supporters and critics divided over issues of misinformation, accountability, and freedom of expression.
