Promasidor Nigeria has invited established entrepreneurs and business owners across Nigeria to join its distribution network and build sustainable businesses around some of the country’s best-known food and beverage brands.

The initiative, titled “Build Your Business with Promasidor”, is targeted at entrepreneurs with the financial resources, infrastructure and operational capacity to establish and grow distribution businesses in selected territories.

Through the programme, successful partners will have access to Promasidor’s portfolio of consumer brands, including Cowbell, Miksi, Loya, Kremela, Onga, Twisco and Top Tea.

The company said the initiative is designed to go beyond expanding its distributor network, with a focus on creating long-term commercial partnerships that can improve product availability while generating sustainable growth and profitability for both sides.

Promasidor Nigeria Chief Executive Officer François Gillet said the company was looking for entrepreneurs with strong knowledge of their markets and the ambition to develop their businesses over the long term.

“Nigeria has a strong and dynamic entrepreneurial community, and we believe there is an opportunity to build even stronger and more profitable businesses together,” Gillet said.

He added that Promasidor would provide established brands and route-to-market expertise, while partners would contribute local market knowledge, business experience and the determination to grow.

The programme is open to established businesses that can demonstrate adequate working capital, warehousing facilities and logistics capabilities.

Promasidor is particularly seeking partners capable of developing direct distribution channels to traditional and modern retailers, alongside existing wholesale operations.

The company said selected partners would also benefit from its experienced sales force and dedicated human and operational resources to support the development and management of effective distribution routes.

The initiative comes as consumer goods companies continue to rely on efficient distribution networks to improve access to products across Nigeria’s diverse markets.

For Promasidor, strengthening its distribution structure could help its brands reach more retailers and consumers while giving established entrepreneurs an opportunity to build businesses around products with existing market recognition.

The company said the initiative reflects its broader focus on developing commercially sustainable partnerships while strengthening the availability of its products across the Nigerian market.
