According to SCGN, the SCGN 2026 AI Governance Conference is designed to address critical questions around how boards can maintain effective oversight as organisations increasingly deploy algorithmic systems and automated decision-making tools.
The event will also examine emerging governance risks, including accountability gaps, compliance challenges and the ethical implications of deploying artificial intelligence at scale across business operations.
Ahead of the main conference, SCGN will host a legal pre-conference on October 6, 2026, in partnership with KENNA and Banwo & Ighodalo.
The session will focus on directors’ legal duties in an era of AI adoption, examining how liability, risk and oversight are evolving in technology-driven organisations.
Together, both sessions aim to create a multidisciplinary platform where law, regulation, technology and corporate governance intersect, offering practical guidance for boards navigating rapid digital transformation.
