Activities revving up as Ayobo Ipaja LCDA prepares for 2021 elections

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), visited Ayobo Ipaja LCDA, in continuation of their sensitization programme towards next year local government election.

The team was received by the Executive Chairman Ayobo Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Yusuf Sakiru Adisa on behalf of the Executive while the Council Management was led by Mrs. Mercy Adeyemi, the Council Manager.

The Representative of the Chairman, Hon. Justice Ayotunde Phillips, who also is a Commissioner in LASIEC, Dr. Bunmi Omoseindemi, spoke on the plans of the Commission towards next year Local Government election. He requested for a conducive working environment for their officers to enhance the service delivery of the Commission.

Hon. Yusuf Sakiru Adisa, while thanking the Commissioners and their team, eulogised the Commission for their good work and promised to provide a befitting office within the new Council Secretariat building, while the former LASIEC office will serve as a Store for the Commission’s materials. Hon. Yusuf reiterated his administration commitment towards ensuring good working relationship between the Commission and the Local Government.

The visitors thereafter presented LASIEC Calendars, Diary and Electoral books to the Chairman as souvenirs.

The Executive Chairman appreciated the kind gesture of the Commission and promised to go through the books. The roll call of visitors include the followings, Dr. Bunmi Omoseindemi, Electoral Commissioner, Chief Mrs. Toyin Ibrahim Famakinwa, EC, Mr. Olusegun Fasu Ayedun, EC, Prof. G. Olatunde Babawale, EC, Dr. Noah Lawal – Jinadu, EC, Mrs. Bandele Sinatu, Fadipe, PS, Mr. Gbade Ademola, Director Operations, Mrs. Morgan A. O., Executive Officer and other staff.
