‘Love, don’t hate’ Eniola Ajao preaches to cyber bullies over BBNaija

Nollywood Actress has said her choice of Kiddwaya and Erica, #Kiddrica in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition was borne out of respect for the two housemates.

She added that every one has a choice to vote for anyone whoever he or she likes based on their preferences.

The actress who has given many years into the movie industry, this week bared her mind on her favourite housemates in the Big Brother Naija on Instagram but some persons went against her, insulting and hating her for not routing for Laycon who came from the same tribe as her.

It seemed there is so much bullying on the social media. Eniola who is a twin, cleared the air saying it pays more to love than hate as she should be respected for her choice and not condemned.

In her post on her handle, @eniola_ajao, she said, “Like we were tutored in our early beginning to love above all else. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind and Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.’ according to book of Matthew Chapter 22.

“This is a very serious issue in Nigeria, and the tendency is becoming so offensive than ever before, and I as a person and role model to many youths of this beautiful nation, will not be involved in any issue that will further fuel such disparities in the religious and tribal spaces, because these have caused more harm than good to this country, even beyond our dear country.

“To boot, as an actress, I have been loved, blessed and supported by many that are not of my tribe and don’t even know me other than the characters that I have played in several films. Recently, I showed my interest and support for my favorites BBN housemates, after watching the show closely for seven weeks. Some people started insulting and bashing me because they think I should have supported another housemate because he’s a Yoruba guy.

“Life is all about choices and there’s freedom of choice. Stop blaming people on how they chose to go about things. What makes you all think I’m not supporting the housemate, #Laycon? And if it’s all about tribe, why didn’t you all support #Vee and #Tolanibaj? They are both Yoruba ladies and need our votes too since we all want to go tribalistic. #Laycon is one of my favorite housemates in the BBN House and this is because of his attributes – cool and talented – and I see him and Erica as the last two housemates standing but that would not stop me from having Erica and Kiddwaya as my first choices. I love #Kiddwaya because he’s free-spirited, he doesn’t brag about his father’s wealth, he’s lovely, real, down to earth and coupled with the fact that he’s always there for #Erica.

I Stand real people, I Stand for love, I Stand for content. It’s a reality TV show. Not about tribe, religion or ethnicity, but loving one another as a family and one big nation. God Bless Nigeria…Great Nation, Great People.”
