The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), in partnership with the African Union Commission, Los Angeles, United States, September 2026, has unveiled plans for the rollout of its 10th edition global calendar, marking a key milestone in the journey towards the anniversary edition of the continental music awards.

A central feature of the gathering is the AFRIMA Creative Industry Roundtable and Stakeholders Conference, themed “Catalyst for Collaboration & Investment in the Global Creative Industry,” focused on strengthening cross-border partnerships and attracting investment into Africa’s entertainment sector.
According to organisers, the Los Angeles engagement forms part of the ongoing RoadTo10thAFRIMA activations, which have previously been hosted in cities including Dar es Salaam, Abidjan, Rabat, and Casablanca, as well as several African cultural hubs such as Lagos, Accra, Dakar, and Addis Ababa.
Associate Co-Producer and North America Jury Member, Hadja Kobele, said the initiative is designed to deepen collaboration between African creatives and the diaspora, describing Los Angeles as a strategic global entertainment hub for such conversations.

She noted that the platform continues to expand its reach while building stronger industry bridges that support African talent on the global stage.
Associate Producer Victoria Nkong added that the conference will move beyond ceremonial announcements to focus on practical investment opportunities and long-term partnerships within the creative sector.
