The decision, announced in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, affects all Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the governor, with immediate effect.
According to the statement, Lucky Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to the affected aides for their contributions to the development of the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
The Aiyedatiwa sacks political aides decision forms part of a broader strategy to reposition the administration, with plans already underway to appoint about 1,000 new aides drawn from across the state.
The incoming appointees are expected to be selected from the 203 wards in Ondo’s 18 local government areas, a move the government said would deepen grassroots engagement and inject fresh capacity into governance.
Officials indicated that the restructuring is designed to improve coordination within the administration while ensuring wider representation and inclusiveness at the local level.
