Addressing a large crowd at the Central School Field, Isuofia, in Aguata Local Government Area, Soludo returned to his hometown to a warm reception from thousands of supporters.
The homecoming rally was both a celebration of his tenure and a powerful mobilisation effort ahead of the poll.
“Across Anambra, they say we are the consensus candidate, but your vote is your voice,” Soludo declared.
“On November 8, I urge each of you to make that voice heard. This is the impact of grassroots mobilisation in shaping the future of Anambra State.”
The governor highlighted his administration’s achievements since taking office, including infrastructure projects, economic reforms, and community-driven programmes.
He stressed that his mission to transform Anambra remained unfinished and called for continued support to sustain the positive momentum.
Community leaders echoed their admiration for Chukwuma Soludo’s governance.
Chief Evarist Ubah praised his unwavering commitment, while Fidelis Okafor of the Isuofia People’s Movement and other local influencers publicly endorsed him.
“As our son, Soludo has always been accessible and responsive,” Okafor said. “His dedication to grassroots governance has transformed our community and projected Anambra in a good light.”
Another local voice, Ifeanyi Ifemelu, described Soludo’s leadership as “visionary and transformative,” insisting that the governor’s re-election was essential to sustain current progress.
In his closing remarks, Soludo underscored the significance of civic duty: “Election day is not just about choosing leaders; it is about choosing the future we want for our children and generations to come.”
With over ₦200 million raised in community support and a strong home base in Isuofia, the governor’s campaign appears energised.
His rally demonstrated unity and confidence ahead of the crucial November vote.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed full readiness for the election, deploying 24,000 ad-hoc staff across 5,718 wards and accrediting 540 journalists.
Sixteen candidates will contest the poll, but Chukwuma Soludo, under the APGA platform, stands as the incumbent seeking a renewed mandate.
