Conoil Staff Clubs Bus Driver’s Head With Iron Rod Over N50

A bus driver was seriously clubbed in the head with a sharp iron object by a Conoil staff at Ikeja along in Lagos.

The driver, who was in a coma as at the time of filing this report was attended to by passersby, was reported to have bought bought fuel at the station before the Conoil staff rushed to attack him for failing to pay N50 which he considered a thoroughfare for passing through the fuel station.

The situation of the driver is quite critical and has been rushed to the hospital to ascertain if there’s still life in him.

According to the passengers in the bus, drivers are only forced to pay N50 when they ply through the filling station without purchasing fuel.

Tumultous crowd have stormed the Conoil office declaring the station won’t sell today until the driver is out of danger.

And the staff at the fuel station have all ran for dear lives to forestall reprisal attacks from passersby who are presently threatening fire and brimstone.
