The initiative, designed to expand opportunities for learning, earning, and digital participation, targets over 15,000 Nigerians.
It builds on the success of a pilot programme in partnership with E-Finance Company and technology provider Credlock, which enabled more than 1,000 people to acquire smartphones through affordable credit.
CREDICORP’s Managing Director, Uzoma Nwagba, said the program represents a natural progression of the company’s mission to improve daily life through responsible credit.
“Digital devices now sit at the centre of learning, earning, and productivity, and expanding access to them is a critical step in building a more digitally ready nation,” Nwagba stated.
Credlock’s CEO, Dayo Fabayo, highlighted the potential of the initiative. “Every smartphone represents the opportunity to learn, work, and access new possibilities. Partnering with CREDICORP and E-Finance allows us to scale this vision to millions of Nigerians,” he said.
The program will allow applicants to access digital devices without the burden of large upfront payments, using Credlock’s intelligent device-collateral system to ensure secure and efficient credit access.
Participants can apply via CREDICORP’s Participating Financial Institutions through [www.credicorp.ng/apply](http://www.credicorp.ng/apply).
CREDICORP has previously supported Nigerians in acquiring mobility solutions and renewable energy systems, demonstrating that fair access to essential tools significantly improves productivity and quality of life.
