Dangote Vision 2030 unveiled at Kaduna Trade Fair, outlining plans to deepen industrialisation, boost local production and expand supply chains
Stakeholders and members of the business community at the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair received fresh insight into the long-term strategy of the Dangote Group as the company outlined its ambitious Vision 2030 roadmap.

Speaking during the company’s Special Day at the event organised by the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry,
Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), the firm’s representative, Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, detailed plans aimed at deepening Nigeria’s industrial base and promoting economic self-reliance through expanded local production and value addition.
According to a statement issued on Monday, Vision 2030 is structured to position the conglomerate as a leading global manufacturing powerhouse, while also advancing national economic development through employment generation, technology adoption and the expansion of supply chains.
Wali Abdurrahman explained that the group’s investments in cement, fertiliser, petrochemicals, energy, sugar and salt are strategically designed to reduce Nigeria’s reliance on imports and strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity.
She noted that the roadmap aligns with ongoing economic reform initiatives focused on stimulating industrial growth and improving competitiveness across sectors.
“At the Dangote Group, local content development is not a slogan; it is the foundation of our business philosophy.
We believe that Nigeria’s prosperity must be built by Nigerians, using Nigerian resources, and for the benefit of Nigerian communities,” she said.
The company’s long-term strategy also places strong emphasis on partnerships with small and medium-scale enterprises, distributors and local suppliers.
Wali Abdurrahman stressed that sustainable industrial development requires inclusive participation across the value chain.
As part of activities marking its Special Day at the fair, the group unveiled new 25kg and 100g sachet packs of Dangote Sugar, targeting broader consumer segments and distribution channels.
In his remarks, President of KADCCIMA, Farouk Suleiman, described the Dangote Group as more than a corporate organisation, calling it a symbol of industrial excellence.
He commended the conglomerate’s continued participation in the annual fair, noting that its support reflects confidence in trade exhibitions and business networking platforms.
A separate statement from the company’s Corporate Communications Department disclosed that several subsidiaries participated in the exhibition, including Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar Refinery, NASCON Allied Industries, Dangote-Sinotruk, Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria and Dangote Fertiliser.

Each business unit operated a dedicated helpdesk to respond to inquiries from prospective customers and stakeholders throughout the trade fair, reinforcing the group’s integrated approach to industrial expansion under its Dangote Vision 2030 agenda.
