Iyabo Ojo Celebrates Grandson Rakeem’s 6-Month Birthday, sharing prayers and love for his growth, protection, and guidance on Instagram
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo celebrated her grandson Rakeem’s six-month birthday on 24 February 2026, sharing heartfelt prayers and affectionate messages on her Instagram page.

Posting photos of the baby, Iyabo Ojo described Rakeem as her “Oga Patapata” and prayed for God’s protection, provision, and guidance over his life.
She also expressed hope that wisdom, knowledge, and understanding would accompany him as he grows into a strong and intelligent young boy.
“Happy 6th month, my princes, Ayomide and Rakeem Mkambala, @rakeem_mk, you will continue to grow in God’s likeness and image. His protection, provision, and guidance will never depart from you. Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding shall continually be yours as you grow up to be a brilliant, intelligent, and strong boy. I love you with all my heart, my Oga Patapata!” she wrote.
This marks another milestone in Iyabo Ojo’s celebrations of Rakeem.
On his four-month birthday, the actress shared a photo of herself and the baby in matching pyjamas, once again calling him her Oga Patapata and showering prayers on him.
Iyabo Ojo previously made headlines for her grand baby shower, which earned her the “Grandma of the Year” award in Nigeria.
The event featured dancers and worshippers welcoming Rakeem and his parents to the country, a gesture reflecting her devotion and support.
The actress has consistently shared moments from her grandson’s early life.
When Rakeem turned 40 days old, she thanked the public for their love and support and prayed for everyone.
On his one-month birthday, she shared a video dancing in matching outfits with her daughter-in-law, Priscilla, highlighting the joy of family togetherness.
Priscilla expressed gratitude for Iyabo Ojo’s unwavering support throughout her pregnancy, noting how the actress paused her work in Lagos to care for her and her unborn child.
She described Iyabo as the best grandmother in the world.
