At Agbado, Ogun State, Ezekiel was carrying a passenger on his motorcycle when Jimoh slapped him for giving him N 100 as ticket fee instead of something higher. Ezekiel was wise enough to turn the other cheek and plead to have his motorcycle released instead of striking back.
Jimoh slumped and died two minutes after giving Ezekiel the second slap.
Since there was no VAR and eyewitnesses confirmed that Ezekiel did not touch the deceased, he could neither be arrested by the police nor treated as a suspect.
