The Lagos State Government has confirmed 43new cases of coronavirus disease in the state.
The confirmation was made by the Lagos State Minister of Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, in a tweet on it’s Twitter account on Wednesday.
The tweet read ”COVID19Lagos update as of 5th of May, 2020.
“43 new COVID19 Infections confirmed in Lagos on the 5th of May, 2020.
“The total number of confirmed COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 1,242.
“60 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 20 females & 40 males were discharged.
“This brings the total number of COVID19 discharged patients in Lagos to 321.
“Remember the ease of lockdown is not the ease of physical distancing.
“You must be at home by 8 pm and continue to stay at home and be safe.”
