Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday on Sunday confirmed the Nkechi Blessing arrest of the woman who secretly filmed her during a workout at a Lagos gym, an incident that earlier triggered widespread online mockery and a storm of body-shaming comments.

Nkechi Blessing disclosed the development during a new episode of the Honest Brunch Podcast shared on the platform’s Instagram page.
The actress said she acted after receiving no cooperation from the gym where the footage was recorded.
The actress criticised the management of iFitness, stating that the facility refused to release information about the woman who captured the video.
She said she pursued the matter independently until she located the individual and handed her over to the police.
Nkechi Blessing said she felt deeply violated by the secret recording, adding that her anger stemmed from what she described as a reckless breach of privacy.
She said the act subjected her to ridicule, as the unflattering clip showed her exhausted and without makeup during an intense workout.
The actress defended her natural body and dismissed comparisons between surgically enhanced figures and her own.
She said the online reactions revealed how quickly social media users judge appearances without understanding context, stressing that she attends the gym to improve her health, not for a fashion display.
The viral video sparked renewed debate on consent and personal boundaries, with many fans expressing support for the actress and condemning the intrusive behaviour.
Nkechi Blessing described the experience as painful but said it strengthened her resolve to advocate for body positivity.
She recently launched a challenge encouraging women to embrace their natural shapes with pride.
The actress said she initially hoped the issue would fade, but the emotional toll of the invasion compelled her to act.
