A woman identified as the mother of the suspect publicly told the traditional ruler and villagers that her own son, Ekene, had been involved in killing people and forcibly taking their land.
The disturbing disclosure unfolded during a confrontation between angry residents and the alleged ritualist, who was brought before the community for questioning.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as tense and emotional, with villagers expressing shock, disbelief, and outrage.
“My son Ekene is killing people and forcefully taking their land,” the woman said without hesitation, leaving the traditional ruler and those present visibly shaken.
