Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Skales, has been accused by Delta Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Bright Edafe, of attempting to use his name to revive his music career.
The allegations arose after a heated exchange on social media between the two public figures.

The incident unfolded on popular social media platform X when Skales tweeted a question directed at law enforcement in the country, asking if there were no police officers present.
In response, Edafe swiftly replied, “Twitter is not a police station!” repeatedly in an attempt to clarify the limitations of the platform.
Skales, seemingly displeased with the officer’s response, retweeted Edafe’s post, adding a caption instructing him to “shut up.”
This sparked a further exchange between the two, with Edafe suggesting that Skales was attempting to exploit him to bring attention back to his music career.
Edafe stated, “It seems like Skales wants to use me to revive his music career. However, I am too occupied with my duties to entertain such distractions. If he genuinely believes that there is a matter that requires investigation, he is welcome to file an official complaint at the police station on behalf of the affected family.”
The reason behind Skales’ initial question on Twitter appears to be linked to the recent persecution experienced by the late Mohbad before his untimely death.
This unexpected clash between Skales and Edafe has attracted significant attention on social media, with fans and followers of both individuals expressing their opinions on the matter.
Many were of the opinion that Edafe’s response was unnecessarily harsh.
