Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has candidly discussed his solitary nature and relationships with colleagues, shedding light on his personal experiences in the music industry.

The ‘Akpako Master’ revealed that he doesn’t maintain strong relationships with any of his colleagues at present, attributing this partly to his inherent personality traits.

In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Terry G disclosed, “I have never had friends, not just in the music industry but my entire life. I am a loner.” He elaborated on how he predominantly spends his time in the studio, focusing on his craft and business endeavors rather than cultivating personal connections.

The singer emphasized that while he interacts with business associates, he maintains a professional distance. He confessed that besides his child, whom he considers his only friend, his relationships primarily revolve around business rather than genuine companionship.

Regarding his past connections with fellow artists, Terry G acknowledged that there were individuals like Timaya with whom he was once close but has since drifted apart. Despite maintaining occasional phone conversations, he acknowledged that physical proximity and genuine camaraderie were lacking.

However, he highlighted a positive rapport with rapper Illbliss, noting that although they had previous issues, they have since reconciled and maintained a cordial relationship.
