The high-profile investment forum is scheduled to hold from 11 to 13 November 2025 in the Federal Capital Territory.

The announcement was made by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).

Dabiri-Erewa said the summit aims to harness the potential of Nigerians living abroad by encouraging direct investment into key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

“This year’s theme is ‘Fast-Tracking Regional and National Development by Mobilising Diaspora Investment’, and we are honoured to have President Tinubu grace the occasion once again,” she said.

Since its inception in 2018, the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS) has evolved into a significant platform for engaging diaspora investors, government stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and sector leaders in strategic investment conversations.

The 2024 edition recorded notable success, attracting over 1,500 participants, including 236 investors, 1,197 business owners, and 168 government officials.

A total of 56 investment pitches were delivered across eight sectors, resulting in 168 deals worth approximately ₦673 million.

“Those figures are not just impressive — they are proof of the confidence Nigerians abroad have in their country’s economic potential,” Dabiri-Erewa noted.

She also highlighted the economic spill-over effect of the summit, stating that over ₦500 million has been injected into the local economy through SMEs and creative sector engagements since the summit began.

The 2025 event will continue to spotlight strategic sectors such as fintech, ICT, healthcare, agribusiness, real estate, education, energy, manufacturing, and the creative economy, including sports and entertainment.

“The participation of diaspora investors is not only a vote of confidence in Nigeria’s potential — it also fuels national development by creating jobs, stimulating innovation, and strengthening sectors critical to our transformation,” she added.
