Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has launched a blistering attack on Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh after a viral video showed the actress conducting what appeared to be a deliverance prayer session on a school pupil.

The widely circulated clip captured Tonto Dikeh, an actress and philanthropist, praying intensely for a student during a visit to a school.
The footage showed the actress laying hands on the pupil while other students gathered around and watched the scene unfold.
The video quickly sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms, with some users praising the gesture while others questioned the appropriateness of the situation within a school setting.
Responding to the clip, VeryDarkMan issued a strong warning to the actress, accusing her of staging what he described as “fake miracles” and urging her not to repeat such actions with children in his community.
“Don’t try this again with my ghetto kids. If you want to do this, take it to your child. We want to raise kids with good life orientation and not your fake miracle,” the activist said in a fiery social media post.
The outspoken commentator also argued that vulnerable children should not be placed in situations that could appear as performative spiritual displays, particularly within educational environments designed primarily for learning and development.
The controversy has since fuelled broader online debate about the intersection of religion, celebrity influence and child welfare in public spaces, with users across platforms offering sharply divided opinions on the incident.
