Alade, 25, said she became fully absorbed in her career after entering the music industry, finding that many colleagues were unfriendly.
“I decided to be by myself and focus on my music,” she said, noting that her team was her main circle and she was largely unconcerned with public perception.
The singer revealed that in her preoccupation with work, she misrepresented her age, telling everyone she was 22 while she was actually 25.
Alade further explained that she avoids attending events or parties where she is not invited, emphasising her limited social circle.
She also reflected on a brief period of cigarette use during her university years, noting that the habit negatively affected her health and vocal performance.
