UBA Foundation stood out among strong contenders, including Dangote Foundation, NLNG, MTN Foundation, and Fidelity Bank Foundation.

The Honourable Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris Malagi, presented the award, commending the foundation for its transformative initiatives, especially in education.

During his speech, Malagi praised UBA Foundation for its significant impact, urging other organisations to adopt a similar approach to CSR.

“This award is a testament to the remarkable achievements of UBA Foundation over the past year. This honour is well-deserved, and I encourage other organisations to follow this exemplary model in giving back to society,” Malagi stated.

Receiving the award, Ramon Nasir, UBA’s Group Head of Media and External Relations, expressed appreciation, attributing the success to the foundation’s long-standing commitment to community development.

“We are deeply honoured to receive this award, which comes at a pivotal moment for us. It affirms the impact of our work and reminds us of our responsibility to do even more,” Nasir remarked.

UBA Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Bola Atta, reinforced the organisation’s dedication to driving social change, highlighting plans to expand their initiatives.

“We are grateful for this recognition, and for us, this is a call to action to do more. In the coming year, we will not rest on our laurels.

We will launch new initiatives and strengthen existing programmes to deepen our impact and broaden our reach,” Atta stated.

UBA Foundation continues to champion Education, Environmental Sustainability, Economic Empowerment, and Special Projects, positively impacting communities across Africa.
