This groundbreaking event will mark the official signing of the Council’s charter—ratifying a unified vision to elevate marketing professionals globally.

Formed through collaboration between the African Marketing Confederation (AMC), the European Marketing Confederation, and the Asia Marketing Federation, the Council now represents over 40 countries and millions of marketers.

At its core, the World Marketing Council aims to build global bridges across marketing communities, fostering collaboration, innovation, and ethical standards.

Its upcoming activities promise to reshape the global marketing landscape, including:

  • Launching a Global Marketing Channel for insights, research, and best practices
  • Introducing a Worldwide Marketer of the Year award
  • Expanding international certification and education programs
  • Aligning with global standards such as ISO for credibility and trust

Additionally, the Council has proposed May 27 as World Marketing Day, honoring Philip Kotler, the father of modern marketing, and celebrating the profession’s legacy.

AMC President Helen McIntee affirmed the Council’s inclusive mission:

“Our vision is to empower marketers everywhere, ensuring Africa’s voice is not just heard, but shapes the global narrative.”

Backed by a diverse leadership team including President Professor Syed Ferhat Anwar and VPs Helen McIntee and Ralf Strauss, the Council is committed to turning ambition into action.

Looking ahead, the Council also plans the first Africa-Asia-Europe World Marketing Conference in 2026—set to spotlight Africa’s marketing leadership on a global stage.
