Judith Audu celebrates Nollywood milestone with Rotimi Salami, highlighting 10 years of films and their current cinema premieres
Filmmaker Judith Audu has shared a reflective tribute to her decade-long journey in Nollywood alongside actor and producer Rotimi Salami, celebrating their professional achievements and ongoing contributions to the Nigerian film industry.

On Instagram, Audu posted images of herself with Salami, writing, “Hello Fam! The other day I saw my Paddi and a massive wave of pride ran through my system. Omo Salami I am so proud of you, of us! We have journeyed from far, and seeing where we are 10 years after is a thing of joy.”
Audu referenced their 2016 collaboration on the film Just Not Married, highlighting the enduring impact of their work. She praised Salami’s latest project, Kilanko: The Invisible Child, which premiered in Nigerian cinemas on March 6, describing it as a testament to dedication and creative passion.
Directed by the late Allwell Ademola, Kilanko explores themes of family, belief, and sacrifice. Audu encouraged audiences to support filmmakers by watching movies in cinemas, online streaming platforms, and television, stressing the effort and challenges involved in production.

Looking ahead, Audu revealed that her upcoming film, EVI, is scheduled for release later this year, signalling continued momentum in her career and a commitment to expanding Nollywood’s reach both locally and internationally.
