Barcelona came from behind to defeat Galatasaray 4-1 at Rams Park in Istanbul on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, recovering from an early setback to secure their second victory in the UEFA Champions League league phase.

Galatasaray took the lead in the 28th minute through Aleksey Batrakov, who finished a move created by Rafael Leão to put the hosts ahead.

The Turkish side appeared to extend their advantage eight minutes later, but a goal was ruled out for offside following a video assistant referee review, allowing Barcelona to remain within reach.

Barcelona restored parity shortly before half-time when João Cancelo scored in the 43rd minute after a move involving Dani Olmo.

The equaliser ensured the visitors went into the break with the scores level at 1-1.

The Spanish side took control five minutes into the second half.

Fermín López put Barcelona ahead in the 50th minute, converting a Lamine Yamal assist to make it 2-1.

Yamal was instrumental again three minutes later, setting up Anthony Gordon to score Barcelona’s third goal and give the visitors a two-goal cushion.

Barcelona continued to threaten, and Karim Adeyemi sealed the victory in the 65th minute after receiving a pass from Gabriel Jesus, making it 4-1.

Galatasaray made several substitutions in an attempt to change the course of the match, but Barcelona maintained their advantage until the final whistle.

Rafael Leão and Roland Sallai were booked in the 64th and 86th minutes respectively as frustration grew among the home side.

The result gave Barcelona a second win in as many Champions League league-phase matches, strengthening their start to the European campaign.

Galatasaray, meanwhile, were left to reflect on a match in which they took the lead but were unable to contain Barcelona’s response after the interval.
