Delivering a sermon to congregants, the cleric emphasised that every individual is gifted by God, describing gifts as the result of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
He stated that being gifted means being specifically empowered and supernaturally assisted to fulfil a divine assignment.
“Man’s gift maketh room for him,” Apostle Suleman said, referencing Proverbs 18:16.
He explained that the more developed a person’s gift becomes, the greater the opportunities that open before them.
Drawing biblical parallels, he cited Joseph interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams and Daniel standing before kings as examples of capacity attracting elevation.
According to him, helpers are drawn to value. “The problem is not getting helpers. When you have a gift, helpers will look for you,” he declared, describing spiritual capacity as a decisive advantage in life’s journey.
The preacher further asserted that although everyone possesses inherent gifts, discovery often requires a defining encounter rather than passive reflection.
He referenced the biblical account of Saul’s anointing in 1 Samuel 10:1, noting that transformation was triggered by a prophetic interaction.
“It takes meeting the right person to enter the next season,” he said, adding that seasons are shaped by divine connections.
He also highlighted the importance of aligning with the right company, warning that associations can either accelerate or hinder destiny.
Quoting Psalm 1, Apostle Suleman cautioned that companionship influences character and direction.
He urged believers to be intentional about relationships, arguing that negative associations can erode spiritual consciousness while the right company promotes discipline, purity, and focus.
“A right company will make you God-conscious and family-oriented. Any company that kills your fear of God is a wrong company,” he counselled.
