The announcement followed the district’s nomination and election process and places Braimah at the helm of one of Nigeria’s most vibrant Rotary districts, comprising more than 86 clubs and over 2,300 Rotarians across parts of Lagos and Ogun States.

As District Governor, Braimah will provide strategic leadership, strengthen club performance, advance humanitarian initiatives, promote Rotary’s public image and drive service impact across the district.

His emergence has been widely welcomed within Rotary and professional circles, with stakeholders citing his extensive leadership experience and longstanding commitment to service.

A seasoned public relations specialist, marketing strategist and media entrepreneur, Braimah is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neo Media and Marketing.

He is also a television commentator, author, public policy analyst and member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.

Braimah completed his MBA at the University of Roehampton in 2017 and received the institution’s Distinguished Chancellor’s Alumni Award in the Inspiration and Innovation Category in October 2024.

He is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and currently serves as Deputy President of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce, as well as a mentor with the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme.

Within Rotary, Braimah is a member of the Rotary Club of Lagos under District 9112. He currently serves as a regional leader in Africa Zone 22 and is a Past Assistant Governor.

His previous roles include Past President of his club, District Secretary, and chair of multiple district committees across District 9112 and the former District 9110. He is also a Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation.

His current assignments include Chair of the District 9112 Public Image Committee, Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Africa Zone 22, Editor of Region 27 Magazine and Coordinator of the 2026 District Team Learning Seminar.

Stakeholders described the nomination as a powerful testament to Braimah’s dedication, leadership capacity and passion for advancing Rotary’s humanitarian mission.
