NSPPD founder challenges accuser to provide evidence after rejecting claims of sexual exploitation, saying legal action has begun

Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), has publicly denied allegations of sexual exploitation made against him by a woman who claimed she had a relationship with the cleric after seeking spiritual help, insisting he has never met the accuser and has instructed his lawyers to take legal action.

The response came after a video circulated widely on social media in which the woman alleged that Pastor Eze exploited her sexually after she sought counselling for a pornography addiction.

She further claimed the alleged relationship resulted in multiple abortions and severe medical complications that ultimately led to the removal of her womb.

Addressing the allegations, Pastor Eze rejected the claims in their entirety, describing them as false and challenging the woman to produce evidence to support her accusations.

“I have never met this lady before in my life. I have no idea what she is talking about.

“This will not end here. I have watched people use my name for clout and make statements I never made. I strongly believe she was paid to do this.”

The cleric said the allegations had gone beyond ordinary online criticism and warranted legal intervention.

“Beyond being a man of God, I want this case to serve as an example so others will learn. You can’t come online and say, ‘see what a man of God is doing.’

I saw the video and I could not watch it twice. Every member of my church knows I’m incapable of such an act.”

Pastor Eze also disclosed that he had instructed his legal team to pursue the matter while inviting the woman to publicly present any evidence she claimed to possess.

“That said, I have involved my lawyer before taking any further steps.

“I am calling on her to come forward publicly with proof. Let her show our direct messages if we have ever communicated, so no one accuses me of silencing or oppressing her.

I am human, just like everyone else. I feel pain, just like you do. But this matter has gone too far, and it must be addressed the right way.”

The allegations first gained widespread attention after the woman posted videos online alleging that she had sought spiritual assistance from Pastor Eze before an alleged intimate relationship developed.

She claimed the relationship resulted in seven abortions and lasting health complications. At the time of publication, she had not publicly released documentary evidence to substantiate the claims.

Pastor Eze’s response marks his first direct public comment since the allegations surfaced.

His statement shifts the matter towards a potential legal dispute, with the cleric indicating that the courts, rather than social media, should determine the facts.

Neither law enforcement agencies nor any court has announced an investigation or made findings regarding the allegations. Likewise, no independent evidence has been publicly verified to support or disprove either party’s account.

The controversy has generated intense debate across social media, reflecting the heightened public scrutiny often surrounding prominent religious figures in Nigeria.

Legal experts note that allegations of this nature remain claims unless supported by credible evidence or established through due legal process.

As the matter unfolds, attention is expected to focus on whether formal legal proceedings will follow and whether either side presents verifiable evidence to substantiate its position.
