‘Abeokuta South Constituency 1’ Doregos declared winner of APC primary election

At the just concluded Ogun State APC House of Aseembly Primary election, the Senior Special Assistant on Housing to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon. Oluwatobi Taiwo Doregos popularly known as OTD has been declared winner for Abeokuta South Constituency 1.

The Primary election which was held at Centenary Hall, Ake in Abeokuta and well attended by the party delegates, he polled 34 to defeat the incumbent representative who had 1 vote.

While addressing the press, he thanked the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, the party Leaders, the delegates and his teaming supporters for their confidence in him.

“I extend my sincere appreciation to God Almighty, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, my family, friends, supporters, my constituency members, our party leaders and chieftains of the party who trusted my ability and gave me the mandate to represent our great party, All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming State House of Assembly election.”

“My sincere appreciation to our party delegates for their expression of confidence in me in the just concluded primaries, I can’t thank you enough.”

While appreciating his co-aspirants, OTD appealed to them for their cooperation and supports in the general election.

“Special appreciation to my fellow aspirants, we all put up a good fight, we are all winners in this game.”

“The primaries have come and gone, the real work towards ensuring the victory of our party at the general elections and achieving an effective representation for the good people of Abeokuta South Constituency 1 in the Ogun State House of Assembly come 2023 continues from here. I urge everyone to join me in changing the fortunes – positively – of our great party and that of our Consituency, Abeokuta South 1”
