In a statement made available to the press, community leaders highlighted that 95 per cent of streets in Ejigbo have remained untarred for decades, with some roads maintained only through the efforts of local communities.
Residents emphasised the importance of prioritising streets with completed community drainage systems, noting that gradual implementation is both achievable and sustainable.
The appeal reflects a broader desire among locals for tangible infrastructure improvements that will ease transportation, reduce flooding, and enhance the overall quality of life in the area.
