Speaking after a consultative meeting in Abuja, Archibong stated that Akwa-Ibom belongs to all citizens, and productive engagement from political supporters, critics, civil society, and the diaspora is essential for sustainable development.
Archibong praised Governor Eno for ongoing projects, including investments in educational infrastructure, the Ibom Model Farms initiative, the new jetty in Oron, shoreline protection works, warehouses and cold rooms for local fishing communities, and the expansion of Akwa-Ibom International Airport ahead of international flights in April 2026.
He highlighted road construction programmes, the ARISE Palm Resort, and the recently commissioned Senior Citizens Centre as evidence of the administration’s commitment to economic growth and social development.
The Strategy Director cautioned against destructive criticism, noting that robust, honest opposition strengthens governance, while unfounded attacks undermine progress.
Archibong described his support as measured, promising to offer constructive feedback through proper channels where necessary.
Archibong also commended the appointment of Raymond Abia as Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Inter-Governmental Affairs, describing Abia’s experience and international networks as key assets for advancing the state’s strategic interests.
