The artist, known for the hit song “Ara”, posted the comments on his Instagram page, arguing that it is wrong for a man to apologise to a woman when she is at fault.
“Nobody deserves to suffer than men who apologize to women when the women are wrong,” Brymo wrote. “And suffer they will from here, and for the rest of humanity’s earthly existence.”
The Brymo apology controversy quickly gained traction online, with critics describing the statement as misogynistic and out of touch with modern relationship dynamics.
Several social media users pushed back against the remarks, arguing that accountability in relationships should not be determined by gender.
Others, however, defended the singer, suggesting his view reflects certain cultural perspectives on pride and responsibility.
The debate has since evolved into a broader conversation about gender roles, emotional intelligence, and expectations within relationships, highlighting deeply divided opinions among audiences.
